FTP but not Controller

First I will explain my situation:

  • I have latest RS without license and expired.
  • First I connect to the service port and I can not even connect to FTP then I change IP like the picture below and it works with FTP server.

And then I scanned the controller, but I never find it. My robot’s configuration is :

I scanned both by using RS and network scanner. Is there any chance because my RS is expired.

Can you please explain how this is related to RAB? Isn’t this question better asked in the Robot Studio part of the forum?

This is probably due to Firewall/Security settings on the PC. There are other forum topics on this and also an instruction in the Release Notes.

Hi,

RobotStudio 5.xx only supports IRC5 controllers. Judging from your options list, it seems that you have a S4, S4C, or S4C+ system (“System Pack 4.0”). You will be able to use FTP, but there is no tool similar to RobotStudio 5.xx available for S4, S4C, or S4C+ controllers. The exception is RobInstall which is used to create and download a new system to the controller.
