I have tried using system builder but after it is built i don’t know how to open/use it. I have an active RobotStudio license and access to backups of the robot but can not directly connect the computer to the robot to run offline.

The easiest way is to create a new “Solution with Station and Robot Controller”.
To start a system that you built virtually, go to the [Controller] tab > [Add Controller] > [Start Virtual Controller…]
