I’m trying to create a new cell from backup and i have not been able to download the new system to controller. the controller is not showing up as a virtual controller

Hi,

A system is never downloaded to a virtual controller. Proceed as follows

  1. Create the system using the function “Create from backup”.
  2. Start the system in RS by using the command “New Station” with “Existing system” and point out your new system
  3. Restore the backup.

If you are running RS 5.11.01 and you want to create a station that corresponds to a physical controller, then you can use the “Go Offline” function available in the “Online” tab.
