Importing Line [PickMaster 3]

Hello

I am curretly running Pickmaster 3.10.0006 on my laptop and have been trying to import a line created on a different pc and pickmaster (version 3.10).

When I try to import the line I get a pickmaster error

‘The line is not registered. Select Import Line from the File menu to register’

Which is what I have just done!

How can I import this line please?

We have tried to repeat your problem in our lab using PickMaster 3.10 as well. We have no problems importing the line.

We understand that you receive the problem when you choose Import Line… from the menu. The problem may be that you are not allowed to modify the registry of your laptop.

You may perform a simple test to see if this is the case.

  1. Create a new line on the laptop
  2. Save the new line
  3. Exit PickMaster and start it again
  4. Choose edit line from the menu

If this fails, there is a problem with your registry. Then please contact your system administrator.

You may also verify the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREABBPickMaster2.0Line

If this is completely empty, no line has been created/imported or the reigstry is write protected.
