Is it nessesary to uninstall the previos version of RS10 in order to install the new version of RS10 with the update RW version.

Is it OK to keep the original RS 5.10 and just delete RW 5.10, then replace it with RW 5.10.00.01?

No you do not need to uninstall the previous version of 5.10 before you install the new version of 5.10.

No, there has been very importent changes in the license mechanism in the new RS 5.10.

So it is very importent that you install the new RS 5.10 aswell.

I am confused by your 2 last posts.

I would suggest that someone create an IMPORTANT TOPIC in the RobotStudio forum that state cleary what we need to uninstall and what we can keep. For my part I didn’t take any chances and I uninstalled everything.

Hi Jet,

What Tonje says is that you should install the new version of RobotStudio, RobotWare and RobotStudio Online.

But it is not necessary to uninstall the old versions manually first, because the installation take care of that.
