I am new to RAB forum.

I have RS5.07 version and I downloaded RAB 5.11 version.

Can I develop RAB for my RS 5.07 version?

If not, should I upgrade to RW 5.09 or 5.10 and develop RAB for that.

Please guide me. Thank you in advance.

Hi Lin,

is RS = RobotStudio???

There has been a lot of changes since 5.07 to 5.11. As an example, 5.11 includes a new set of controls. I will use at least Rw 5.10 and RAB for a good start.

Means I have RW 5.07 with RS 5.07 and only install RW 5.09.

can i do installation only 5.09 to RS 5.07?

Dear Lin,

Please note that the only way to still have an external version of RobotStudio 5.07 is to have installed the cracked version. :nauseated_face: Something which is a punishable offence. I would sincerely recommend that you uninstall it, since so far the cracked versions that we have tracked down all install trojans. :worried:
To answer your question, no you can not install a later version of RobotWare on top of your RobotStudio version to make it compatible with Robot Application Builder.

I uninstall Robot studio 5.07 and using 5.10 now.
