Once a bug caused problems with Windows updates, and it was necessary to run an ABB package to solve the problem - in this case it took about three days to solve.
The license takes into account the machine where RS was installed. What can cause inconvenience is if the RS version requires a specific OS or a bug in RS. In this case, report it to ABB support.

Upgrading windows should not invalidate your license.
If it does, please send an email to softwarefactory_support@se.abb.com and ask for support.
