Modify the state of a boolean variable

How can I modify the state of a boolean variable on the Teach Pendant when the omicore controller is in automatic.

In automatic and program running, or just in automatic?

I need to test several conditions without stopping the process.

Have you tried using Robotstudio to connect and changing it from there?

The purpose is to be able to change it on the FP, so my customer will have the possibility to adjust the process by its own.

With the IRC5 controller, it was not a problem, but with the Omnicore it’s not working anymore.

So, I thought that there must be a system adjustment somewhere to allow this functionality again, but I couldn’t find it. I was hoping that someone from the Community know that “trick”.

Okay, then I will suggest to make it a simulated output instead of boolean and then assign a programmable key to toggle that output.

Or you use APP-Studio to create an Window with Buttons and other Controls on the FP for your customer…
