I want to know if somebody has changed the mounting plate in order to increase the vacuum power on the IRB 340.
We are looking to change the mounting plate R3/8’ (part C on the image) for one with R1’, and the vacuum connection 2xR1/4’ (part A on the image) for one with 2R1’. It’s possible to find, buy and change these parts or it’s not possible to make this change?
I have seen this done, but was not involved directly in the design. The design was scaled up (not as big as 1"), and was done independently from ABB. I believe ABB will supply detail drawings of the relevant parts to design around.
