no units to activate

I have created a new station that is shown below. When I open a new path in AcrWeld and try to create an action instruction/ActUnit, I don’t get the STN1, STN2,INTERCH choices. The choice I get are IRB, ROB_1, and ROB_ID. How do I get the stations to appear so I can program the path? Thanks.

Do you have the external positioner in your simulation ? I was comparing yours with my station and I found out that you are missing a folder under T_ROB1 which for me is AR_##### and I have my STN1 under that …

After importing your robot and external positioner to the empty system you should create a system from layout, have you done that ?

The create station from layout does not seem to work. No versions or RobotWare show in the

selection box.

I see that … mine has it … Try to close the sataiton and do it again if you can … follow the steps :

  • Start an empty station
  • RobotStudio → Home → Import Library → Browse for Library
  • Choose your prefered robot from this path :
“C:Program Files (x86)ABB Industrial ITRobotics ITRobotStudio 5.14ABB LibraryRobots”
OBS : yours might be different if you have chosen another installation path.
  • RobotStudio → Home → Import Library → Browse for Library
  • Choose your positioner (e.g. IRB750K_D1000-L1600_M2001_REV1) from the following path :
“C:Program Files (x86)ABB Industrial ITRobotics ITRobotStudio 5.14ABB LibraryPositioners”
  • After it clikc on Robot Systems and then From Layout

If this doesn’t work then I guess you miss something in your RS.

I get this error if I attempt to create a station by layout.

Did you try this only one time or at leat couple of times ? If you have tried this more than once and it gives you the same error each time, then I guess there is something wrong with ur installation.

Try to uninstall (all robotstudio folders) and re-install again. But I dunno more than that …

I un-installed everything and re-installed. I get to the last step of creating a station from layout and this message comes up.
