There is a big difference between the IRC5 RobotWare options and the S4C+ RW options when choosing “Prepared for PickMaster”
The funcions included with the IRC5 are:
- 609-1 Fixed Position Events
- 626-1 Advanced RAPID
S4C+ has an option called Factory Ware Communication. The similar option is called 616-1 PC Interface. This option need to be chosen in order to use RSO via the LAN port.

So it means that if I need to connect some robots to a HMI and my idea was the OPC, I need the PC-interface option, that is not included in the base package that I buy with the option Prepared for PickMaster ?
The problem is the way to get any errors and messages that I’ve on the controller, into an external HMI based on the WonderWare Intouch.

Yes, it is correct, PC-Interface option is not included with the option Prepared for PickMaster.
PC-Interface might however be quite handy to have if you are planning on using RobotStudio Online extensively, otherwise you must switch to the service port as soon as you are going to use RSO.
