Robot Studio cannot create RobotWare 6 type controllers

Hello all!

Currently, my install of RS can create virtual robot controllers as long as it’s RobotWare 7. However, it hangs when it attempts to run RobotWare 6 controllers.

I have:

  1. Attempted to unpack and work a working station someone else created on their computer
  2. Attempted to uninstall/reinstall several times.
  3. Run as admin in case it was privileges

I still have consistent hanging when it attempts to load a controller.
Has anyone experienced this?

Hi adahdouh,

Try to re-install the 6.x RobotWare version that you’re using.

If that doesn’t solve the issue, please contact your local ABB for further troubleshooting.
