RobotStudio 2025.5 Trial License: "All available trial licenses have already been installed on this PC" but no licenses are installed

Hello,

I’m trying to activate the 30-day trial license for RobotStudio 2025.5 (64-bit), but I’m unable to do so.

The Activation Wizard always shows:

“All available trial licenses have already been installed on this PC.”

However, under “View Installed Licenses” there are no licenses installed.

What I have already tried:

  • Reinstalled RobotStudio 2025.5
  • Deleted the RobotStudio configuration folders
  • Reinitialized the license storage using:
    RobotStudio.Installer.exe -InitLicenseStorage
  • Restarted the PC

The license storage is recreated successfully, but the problem remains.

Additional information:

  • RobotStudio version: 2025.5 (64-bit)
  • License: Basic

Has anyone experienced this issue before?
Is this a server-side problem with the trial license, and does ABB need to reset the trial for my machine?

I’ve also contacted ABB support, but I’m waiting for their reply.

Trial licenses for RS2025.x are no longer available.

Please use RS2026.x where trial licenses are available.
