RobotWare 6.12.03 does not come with option 1582-1 OPC UA Server

The most recent version of RobotWare 6 does not come with the communication option “1582-1 OPC UA Server”, instead it shows “1582-1 IoT Data Gateway”. This new one allows the IRC5 OPC UA Server Application to connect with the robot controller, but then it shows a warning saying that the controller “does not have option 1582-1 OPC UA Server” and no data is collected from the controller to the OPC UA server.

Is there something to do so that it is possible for the server application to collect data? Also, previous versions of RobotWare 6 show the option 1582-1 as “OPC UA Server”.

Hello,

The bug fix for this issue will be available in the next IoT Gateway release which is due by the end of next month.

Please replace OPC UA Server with IoT Gateway because OP UA Server has reached its end of life and will no longer receive updates and bug fixes.
