Wrong configuration while linear moving

Hi,

i have found a big problem in RS 5.14.01 SP1 when i use linear moving.
In some special positions you can set the config whith the correct values, but if you linear move a little bit, the config becomes wrong. Please have a look to my two screenshots.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks for help.
Klaus

Hi Klaus,
I can not reproduce your problem.
Have you moved the Task Frame or Base Frame for the system?

Hello Anders,
yes the base frame has moved and is not the world.
The task frame is 0,0,0.

Please have look at my screenshots.
I think the problem is the axis 1 when its value should go more han -90A?.
This behavior occurs on some other situations also on robot 2.
I have not so much time to investigate all the positions with this problem

Please help me.

Thanks
Klaus Vogel

I have set up the same configuration as you, but can still not reproduce your problem. But if you mail me (anders.spaak@se.abb.com) a Pack & Go of the station you have problem with, I will try to reproduce it in that station and report it as a bug.

Hi Anders,
thank you for your support

I have reduced the station and have it attached here.
I will also send it to you by e-mail.

Please have a look at my station and give reponse a.s.a.p.

Thank you very much

Hi Klaus,
I have now tested with your Pack&Go, but I can still not reproduce your problem. The robots jogs correct with linear freehand for me.
The only difference compared with your system is that I have tested with RobotWare 5.13 and 5.14.01 instead of RW 5.09 that you use. So maybe you should test to unpack your Pack&Go with RobotWare 5.14.01 and see if that helps.

Hi Anders,
thank you very much for your help.
Yes you are right. - If i use 5.14.01 the problem is gone.

There are much less configuration that i have seen before.
The two wrong configs are not longer shown when a chose the config in dialog.

So i think i will use the new RW 5.14.01, but the problem with 5.09 exists :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thanks a lot.:clap::clap::clap:

Good to here that it works in RW 5.14.01. The problem is probably caused by a bug in RW 5.09, which is fixed in newer RW versions.
So the solution is to not use RW 5.09 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ok - I understand.
How can i “easily” change the RW in my station to RW 5.14 ?

Thank you for your support

Make a Pack&Go of the station. Unpack the station, and in the Wizard select RW 5.14.01.

OK. Thanks. That looks very easy.
Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards,
