Coating a half-pipe

novice programmer here!

i want to apply a thermal sprayed coating to the inside of of a pipe. only the bend needs to be coated, and only half of it.

i was thinking of using two moveC movements, from left to right and back to left. and then have that move repeat while incrementaly shifting over the substrate. the problem is i dont know how to make the moveC’s shift.

in the attached picture you can see the welded part of the pipe. thats where the coating needs to go.

any help is much appreciated!
