Hello,
I have a 2 robot application where I am building a pattern which consists of 2 stacks that are each 3 products high on a flow wrapper infeed conveyor. The process works very well with load balancing on both the pick and place conveyors, but it is critical that the stacks are created in the correct sequence. The first placement must be the bottom level and adjacent to the moving wrapper flight.
If I create the pattern normally and use load balancing, Pickmaster decides arbitrarily whether the first robot gets positions 1, 3 and 5 or 2, 4 and 6. Additionally, if one robot is not functioning, the other robot must create the complete pattern by itself.
How can this be handled so that the desired order of stack build is maintained in all circumstances and still keep the load balancing active to control the flow of the process?
Thank you for your help.
