There are 2 signals (pmProject_diStart and pmProject_diStop) which i’d expect to do as they say - start and stop the project. pmProject_diStop will stop the active project, but pmProject_diStart doesn’t start/restart the project. Am i missing something?
Hi Phil,
You need to load the program module PmProjMgr.mod to be able to use them.
That is easiest made by just pulsing the signal pmSystem_diLoadStart1, which is configured as LoadStart for that module.
This is described in the Users Guide, chapter ‘7.3.4. Extended I/O interface’, section ‘Project handling’, part ‘Starting a project’.

Found it Mats - thankyou.
Have found another little issue with PickMaster though - it seems i can’t add another Task (I want one to do some handshaking with the PLC outside of the main module). Is this disabled with the PickMaster option?
You must have Multitasking option on the controller to do that, do you?
There wasn’t the Multitasking option (623-1) specificied on the controller according to the information I have: is this normal when the controller has the “prepared for PickMaster” option (642-2)?
No, it’s an option.
