I have a problem with IPC - again.
I keep getting a RMQ_Message_Discarded from T_ROB_1 (code 40358) when sending a message to another IPC queue ( going to another task )
The problem is that NOTHING is send to the IPC queue of T_ROB_1…
I have updated the controller os to 5.12.3023, reinstalled everything on the controller from scratch etc. but without success.
The program worked fine on another IRC5 a couple of weeks ago.
Any suggestions?
Is the an “advanced” monitoring tool that I can use to inspect the kernel inside the IRC5 controller? I fear that something is rotten inside that controller :rage:
The RMQ_T_ROB1 was completely missing, I could not see it when iterating the controller.Ipc.Queues collection.
The solution was to delete the T_ROB1 task, restart, and then recreate T_ROB1 from scratch. Somehting wen’t really bad in that controller, still have no idea why…

try installing Windows instead or Robotware in that controller and you’ll see what really bad is all about 
Like in any system, Cold Start is often the final option but solve many problems that cannot be explained.

Well, I might be mistaken in expecting more quality from ABB than MS 
I just have to realise that the IRC5’s also require reinstalls from time to time…
