Loosing connection to Framegrabber [PickMaster 3]

Hi PM support.

I have the following problem: After the PM PC had an System failure, the Framegrabber is not active in the line anymore. The error 12322 pops up and tells me to calibrate the cameras connected to the framegrabber. The systerm was running with no errors for weeks, and all of a sudden this occured. If I take a look in the PC device manager the framegrabber is found and working correctly.

What could cause this kind of problem? What can I do that I don’t have to recalibrate the cameras?

We are using PM 3.10 rev 6, a triple digital framegrabber 8100D and a Siemens industrial PC.

Could a reimoport of the line help?

I had similar problems in the past.
Now, I save the calibration image (in BMP format) in a safe place, and when I need to recalibrate, I load back the image and I calibrate the line with it.
This probably don’t solve your problem, but can prevent simalr problems in the future.
For PM developers: what about to auto-save the last calibration image?
