ERROR 12315 - Failed to initiate camera . [PickMaster 3]

Hi,

I have a PM line with 2 cams. Sometime when we start, I have an error 12315: Position will not be used-Failed to initiale camera routine.

I need to restart PM averytime this occur and after all, it works. What could create this error with the camera?

What type of frame grabber are you using?

Hi Fredrik,

The frame Grabber is a Cognex 8100D (2 Channels). Do you have any clue?

This is not frequent and we need to reboot pickmaster to start the poduction.

Hi Nicolas,

The only thing I can think of is that there has been some problems with the 8100d frame grabber on some computers.

There is a driver update which addresses this problem. I should point out that I have not seen the exact symptom you describe, but it may be related to the same cause.
