Hi,

Which is the maximum counts per meter value

for a conveyor tracking on an IRB340 IRC5 with a

Pickmaster ?.

Hello Paolo,

there is no specific maximum value of the system parameter “counts per meter”. From the user guide of the conveyor tracking option following can be read: “Reducing the number of measured counts below 5000 will reduce the accuracy of the robot tracking. Increasing the number of measured counts beyond 10000 will have no significant effect as inaccuracies in robot and cell calibration will be the dominating factors for accuracy.”

Hello Jan, thanks for your input/clarify. It seems the encoder board has a value limitation of 50000.
