Can you please explain how and when the RIS data is saved.
We have lost some RIS settings!

The RIS settings are saved upon exiting PickMaster or if another RIS-plugin is selected in the RIS configuration window.
As any project should be able to be opened through RIS, it would be something like “catch 22” if the RIS settings are stored within a project. Hence, the RIS settings are not stored within any project,
instead they are stored in registry and .dat files in the …ABB Industrial ITRobotics ITPickMasterRIS directory. To copy (backup or restore) the RIS settings from one computer to another, please perform the following.
- Copy registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREABBPickMaster2.0Ris
- Copy the .dat files in the RIS directory
When performing this, please note that it is important that the projects have the same name and are stored in the same directories (path, filename etc. must be the same).
Fyi, please also note that the release notes for PickMaster 3.0 will state that the RIS settings must be reentered if upgrading from 2.x to 3.x.
