welding tool PKI_500

Hi,

How to send signals from the controller to the “PKI_500” tool to adjust welding parameters such as voltage,current.

I studied “IO System domain” of the controller & I can enter the I & V values from the FP UI

but how to deliver a signal from the controller to this tool in RobotStudio.

is it a must to use ArcWelding PowePac ?? or RobotStudio can perform a simple welding pocess?

Hi,
You have to use a system (Virtual Controller) with the option “Arc” in RobotStudio, so you get access to the arc instructions such as “ArcL”, “ArcLStart”, “ArcLEnd” etc.
How to set the different weld parametes, you have to study in the documentation for “Arc Ware”.
