I want to ask about pickmaster license, we have one computer included pickmaster demo license, last week when my computer was repaired i took my hard disk from cpu. two days ago i wanted to make experiment with pickmaster so i put my hard disk with another cpu. when i opened pickmaster software license is not valid (my license is valid until october 18th). after that, i put my hard disk back into my old cpu but pickmaster still can not detect license. can anybody help me to solve this problem??
The license mechanism detects when the hardware have been tampered and therefore locks the license.

A? A? I had the same problem as Sumin. My computer controls the Flexpicker. Someday the computer became hang, when my IT engineer took some troubleshooting, he conlude that the-RAM was broken. So I must replace my RAM, then I have seen that my Pickmaster License was gone.
A? A? I believe that ABB has very high security of (Pickmaster) Software, but sometimes it becomes a problem for our customer. A little trouble on Computer can kill all of system. and it will take many breakdown time, cause we must contact ABB Support software first.
A? A? Today I use Pickmaster to control 2 robots with 6-axis.When I use Conveyor Tracking Option, my system’s live only depend on encoder and sensor. But when I use Pickmaster, my system’s live depend on encoder, sensor and all component of the computer where the pickmaster License to be installed. The only advantage I get when I use Pickmaster is that I don’t need to use Multimove option to control many robots.
A? A? I am not sure that the ABB high level security of Pickmaster Software is an advantage or a weakness???
My license is back as normally. I just don’t know why that happen. This is same with my experience with robotstudio, someday robotstudio license is error so we can’t do anything with that, but after few days license is back as normally.
