Hello,
I’m trying to program two ABB IRB640 M98 robots, but I’ve got problems with the controllers. The first controller has been cold rebooted. The second controller won’t boot further than: WAIT! The system is starting up… anymore. When it did boot further I made a backup of the settings (I attached the backup as .zip file). I’ve got the following information about the controllers:
This was under Product ID (found when second controller still booted):
3HAB2396-2/00 System Pack 3.1
TP Language
Irb640/160
Advanced Functions
Controller 1 (cold rebooted):
Type: IRB640 M98
Robotversion: IRB640
Man Order: 133985
Ref. no: R8413301002
Serial no.: 64Z-10056
Date of manufacturing: 1998-10-21
Controller 2 (stuck at: WAIT! The system is starting up):
Type: IRB640 M98
Robotversion: IRB640
Man Order: 133984
Ref. no: R8413301001
Serial no.: 64Z-10055
Date of manufacturing: 1998-10-22
I don’t have the system diskettes of these controllers, but I’ve got the system disks of an ABB IRB6400, with System Pack 3.2 (3HAC2700-2).
Is there a way to retreive the files necessary (I believe KEY.txt and KEY.ID) from the controllers or backup (attached), so I can use the diskettes of the IRB6400 to install my controllers? Or does someone have the right diskettes for me?
Thanks in advance,
Koen
