I have been testing a new version pc to use with Pickmaster/Vision system and have encounted a problem. I have forwarded the Cognex PC consderations document to our PC supply, who believes the PC being used meets Cognex requirements.
In Camera Configuration when I have selected
8100D framegrabber
and CDC200 camera, the Camera Configuration window in Pickmaster locks-up with a NotResponding message.
Please find attached the two error files created by Pickmaster.
Could you please advise me on where the problem is.

We recently had a problem with a Dell Vostros and the Cognex board. ABB looked into this and I believe found a solution. We ended up using a different Dell model.

We have a driver update which solves the problem that you describe. The problem was associated with the framegrabber communication on the PCI-bus. You will find instructions on how to install the driver in the attached readme-file.
