I’m upgrading to PickMaster 2.30 on Windows 2000 (SP4) but I can’t get the frame grabber to work.
In PickMaster 2.30 a new version of the Cognex software CVL is used. This software requires a different version of the frame grabber driver.
To uninstall the old driver change the current directory to the “PickMasterFrame graber drivers” folder in the PickMaster CD. Depending on what type of frame grabber is used type “instw2k 8120 -u” or “instw2k 8100 -u” to uninstall the old driver.
Restart the computer and reinstall the driver with the help of “PickMasterFrame graber driversSetup Cognex driver.exe” on the PickMaster CD.
